The Role
As a Senior Software Developer (Data Engineering) youll play a critical role in building and maintaining the data solutions that power regulatory reporting across U.S. equity and options markets.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintainJava and Scala-basedbackend applications that support large-scale regulatory reporting workflows.
Analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into reliable scalable software solutions.
Build enhance and supportdata processing and ETL workflowsthat ingest transform and deliver large volumes of trading and market data.
Troubleshoot production issues identify root causes and implement durable long-term fixes across distributed data platforms.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using cloud and big data technologies
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of software development experience with strong programming skills in Scala or/and Java.
Experience developingbackend services data-intensive applications or ETL/data processing solutions.
Experience working inSQL and Linux/Unix environments including scripting and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale data processing technologies and cloud platforms particularly AWS.
Experience withApache Spark Amazon EMR Hadoop or other big data technologies.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools that enhance engineering productivity.
Background in financial markets regulatory reporting or trading systems environments.
This position willbe located inPhiladelphia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
