As part of HPs data science community you will work at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics applying cutting-edge techniques to solve meaningful business challenges. Youll partner with cross-functional teams to discover opportunities build intelligent solutions and communicate insights that influence strategy across the organization.

What Youll Do

As a Data Scientist at HP you will:

• Harness the power of AI machine learning and advanced analytics to uncover insights from large complex and diverse datasets.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models that help business leaders make smarter faster decisions.
• Develop innovative solutions using machine learning deep learning natural language processing and generative AI technologies.
• Partner with engineering product and business teams to create scalable data products and intelligent automation solutions.
• Transform analytical findings into compelling stories that inspire action and help stakeholders understand the why behind the data.
• Create impactful data visualizations dashboards and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead data science initiatives from discovery through deployment ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• Mentor and guide fellow data scientists while helping build a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Continuously explore emerging AI technologies industry trends and advanced analytical methods to keep HP at the forefront of innovation.

What Were Looking For

You are a data-driven problem solver who is equally comfortable building models exploring new AI capabilities and presenting findings to senior leaders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Masters or PhD in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in data science machine learning analytics or statistical modeling.
• Strong programming skills in Python SQL R or related technologies.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts through clear compelling storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) AI-powered analytics or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
• Cloud experience with AWS and big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
• Experience mentoring team members or leading analytics projects.
• Professional certifications in Python SQL AI Machine Learning or Cloud technologies.

The pay range for this role is $105050 to $161800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location job-related knowledge skills and experience.
