Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Develop implement and maintain advanced statistical models machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics solutions to address business challenges across various domains. Clean transform and analyze large complex datasets from disparate sources to identify trends patterns and insights. Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new features products or strategies. Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations reports and dashboards. Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production systems and monitor their performance. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science machine learning and artificial intelligence evaluating and recommending new technologies or techniques. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a strong data science community within the organization.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or a related quantitative field. 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role with a strong portfolio of projects. Proficiency in Python (NumPy pandas scikit-learn TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Strong understanding of statistical modelling machine learning algorithms (e.g. regression classification clustering time series) and experimental design. Experience with big data technologies such as Spark Hadoop or similar distributed computing frameworks. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into actionable data science solutions. Excellent communication presentation and storytelling skills with a proven ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Qualifications
Ph.D. in a quantitative field. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Matplotlib Seaborn). Publications in reputable conferences or journals in data science or related fields.
