Kean Miller is currently seeking a part-time reduced hours full time or contract attorney to join the Data Privacy and Cyber Security practice.
Experience & Qualifications
- Two to four years experience handling data privacy data security and incident response matters including breach triage containment documentation and regulatory compliance steps
- Experience triaging data breaches and cyber incidents coordinating notifications containment strategies and compliance obligations
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing privacy and security policies internal privacy management frameworks and compliance documentation
- Experience reviewing and negotiating master service agreements SaaS licenses data processing addenda and other data-related commercial contracts
- Experience evaluating vendor management programs and assessing privacy and data security risks in software licensing and outsourcing arrangements
- Ability to assist with information-sharing issues regulatory examinations incident investigations and responses to inquiries from administrative or legislative bodies
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills excellent legal research and analytical abilities and outstanding academic credentials.
- CIPP/US or similar privacy certification is highly valued
