A large enterprise organization is hiring an experienced engineer to help build a new software and data environment. This is a hands-on leadership position combining architecture application development data engineering and technical mentorship.

You will help establish the platforms technical direction while continuing to write production code. The work spans data processing back-end services internal applications and the engineering practices required to operate them reliably.

What Youll Do

• Design and build scalable data-processing pipelines and supporting services.
• Develop Python-based components for data ingestion transformation and application workflows.
• Create APIs that make business data available to reporting and internal software.
• Contribute to web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Design relational database structures and improve query performance.
• Establish practical standards for testing deployment security documentation and production support.
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues across application and data layers.
• Review technical designs guide implementation decisions and mentor other engineers.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams as the platform moves from initial development into production use.

What Youll Bring

• Eight or more years of professional data or software engineering experience.
• Previous responsibility as a technical lead principal engineer or senior architecture contributor.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience building production data pipelines and data-intensive applications.
• Experience designing APIs back-end services and relational database solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience deploying cloud-based containerized applications through automated delivery processes.
• Understanding of data modeling application security testing and production monitoring.
• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
