Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer - Kusto (KQL & SQL) to support the IDaRS Circular Center application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kusto Query Language (KQL) SQL and data analysis along with experience supporting enterprise applications in logistics operations or supply chain environments.

This role combines data engineering application support troubleshooting and business collaboration. The candidate will work closely with engineering teams business users and operations teams to maintain data quality investigate issues optimize Kusto queries and support application enhancements.


Experience Required

  • 4-6 Years of experience in Data Engineering Data Analysis or Application Support
  • Strong experience with Kusto (KQL) and SQL
  • Experience in Logistics Supply Chain or Operations domains is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Analytics

  • Develop maintain and optimize Kusto (KQL) and SQL queries for large datasets.
  • Perform deep data investigations root cause analysis and data validation.
  • Build reusable query patterns and dashboards for operational reporting.
  • Optimize Kusto queries for performance scalability and memory efficiency.

Application Support

  • Act as the functional owner for the IDaRS Circular Center application.
  • Support day-to-day application operations issue resolution and feature enhancements.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve defects and implement new functionality.
  • Manage site requests incidents and user support activities.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features and bug fixes.
  • Validate business rules data quality and application functionality.
  • Provide feedback to improve application performance and usability.

Data Quality & Reporting

  • Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across multiple datasets.
  • Analyze asset-level and part-level data using Kusto and SQL.
  • Create reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
  • Support business decision-making through data-driven insights.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering Operations and Business teams.
  • Participate in bug tracking issue management and release activities.
  • Document data processes troubleshooting steps and best practices.
