Key Responsibilities Data Engineer / Microsoft SQL Database Administrator The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) is seeking a skilled Data Engineer / Microsoft SQL DatabaseAdministrator to design maintain and improve our organizations data systems and cloud datainfrastructure. This position combines Microsoft SQL Server database administration with modern dataengineering responsibilities including data pipeline development cloud data lake managementdatabase performance optimization and support for analytics and reporting. The successful candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL and databaseadministration best practices as well as hands-on knowledge of Microsoft cloud data technologiesincluding Azure Cosmos DB Azure Data Lake Storage and Microsoft Fabric. This role works closely with analysts application developers business users and IT staff to ensure datais secure reliable accurate well-organized and available for operational and strategic decision-making.
