A Data Engineer is responsible for designing building and maintaining the infrastructure that collects stores and processes data Key responsibilities include

Designing and managing data pipelines to automate the extraction transformation and loading of data from various sources
Building and maintaining databases and ensuring data quality and integrity through validation and cleaning processes
Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is accessible and usable for analysis
Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations
Staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering
Data Engineers play a crucial role in enabling organizations to make informed data driven decisions
