Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Data Conversion Specialist

Scope of Services

Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
Develop and implement data conversion plans.
Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
Collaborate with business stakeholders IT teams and other departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
Research and evaluate new data conversion technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Mentor and train other team members on data conversion best practices.
Communicate with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and status.

Mandatory Expertise / Experience

Ten (10) years of expertise and/or relevant experience in:
- Data analysis mapping and migration between legacy and modern systems
- Developing and implementing comprehensive data conversion plans
- Designing and executing data validation and testing processes
- Ensuring data quality integrity and consistency throughout conversion projects
- Collaborating with business stakeholders IT teams and cross-functional departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements

Desirable Expertise / Experience

Prior experience with LADOTD data or other similar state applications
Experience with data conversion tools ETL platforms and scripting languages.

***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop monitor etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumens client allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
