Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- We are seeking a Data Architect
- Need to have hands-on experience in Cloud Modernization/Transformation program involving AWS Databricks.
- Strong experience in large-scale cloud data modernization programs
- Strong experience in Data Architecture
- Experience in AWS (S3 Glue Lambda Step Functions Athena)
- Strong experience in Databricks (Delta Lake Unity Catalog)
- Strong experience in Data modeling (Datawarehouse Lakehouse)
- Experience in Integration architecture & governance frameworks
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define target data architecture (Lakehouse/Data Platform) including ingestion processing storage and consumption layers
Design scalable fault-tolerant and high-performance solutions on AWS
Establish data integration patterns and architecture standards
Drive data governance data federation security and compliance frameworks
Lead POCs and architectural validations for critical requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution design
Guide engineering teams on best practices and platform optimization
Define cutover strategy: Dual-run / shadowing approach Zero-downtime migration Rollback mechanisms
Ensure architecture meets: High throughput and low latency requirements Horizontal scalability Fault tolerance and resiliency
Experience in AWS services like Lambda SQS Event Bridge SNS Step function EKS S3 etc.
Identify and mitigate risks related to: Migration complexity Dependency management Performance bottlenecks Data integrity
Define contingency plans for: Rollbacks Failure scenarios. Ensure production readiness across all waves.
