Job Overview
XPECT Solutions is seeking a Data Analytics Engineerto support our Federal Government Customer with delivering secure cloud-based mission systems. The Engineer will contribute to the design develop and deploy scalable reporting and analytics solutions for government this role you will gather requirements architect data pipelines and build high-performance dashboards that enable critical decision-making in secure fast-paced environments. Your technical expertise and communication skills will directly impact mission outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and partner with stakeholders to understand complex data needs and emerging business objectives
- Design develop and deploy scalable high-performance reporting systems and analytics tools
- Create and optimize SQL queries dashboards and data visualization tools in response to client requirements
- Identify research and integrate disparate data sources while maintaining data integrity and security
- Communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams; respond to requirements in tight timeframes
- Must Be Able to Obtain Public Trust Level 6C
- Ability to work on-site in Crystal City Virginia 1dayper week
- 5 years ofexperience
- Experience with Report and Dashboard Development
- Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle PostgreSQL)
- Experience with the following technologies:
- AWS services (S3 RDS EC2 Lambda Step Functions EventBridge OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
- JSON and JSON format mediation techniques
- Business intelligence and visualization tools (PowerBI Tableau)
- DevSecOps tools and techniques (Jenkins Git)
- Data management and aggregation patterns (data warehouse data mart data lake delta lake lakehouse data mesh)
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
