Data Analysts Inventory Forecasting

A growing company is seeking a highly analytical detail-oriented and proactive Business Data Analyst to join its Inventory Forecasting team. This role supports demand planning and inventory management by analyzing historical data identifying trends and collaborating closely with purchasing operations and sales teams to improve inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze historical sales inventory and operational data to support accurate demand forecasting

Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages excess inventory risks and opportunities

Develop and maintain reports spreadsheets dashboards and analytical tools

Collaborate with purchasing operations and sales teams to align inventory forecasts and business priorities

Take ownership of forecasting processes and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time

Lead follow-ups with cross-functional teams to maintain accountability and project momentum

Analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations

Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy reporting and operational efficiency

Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in data analysis demand forecasting inventory management supply chain or a related field required

Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

Ability to identify trends discrepancies risks and business opportunities within data

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

Strong sense of ownership accountability and initiative

Excellent communication collaboration and follow-up skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Analytics Finance or a related field preferred
