Job Summary

PLEASE NOTE:

It is a Fulltime onsite position in Menands NY.

SUMMARY:

The candidate will provide data analysis and management for various COVID Data Dashboard and distribution of COVID data to external entities and the public. The contractor will also perform data management and analytic tasks including researching and documenting technical designs programming solutions writing and executing unit test plans researching resolving and testing defects customer technical support and close collaboration with other team members.

Requirements

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

At least a bachelors degree in Data Engineering Computer Science MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted
6 years experience with development in medium to large-scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented
6 years experience with data analytics including processing reporting transformation visualization.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

6 years experience with Python based data analytics projects
6 years experience with relational and NoSQL databases (like Oracle Postgres MongoDB DynamoDB etc) containing large amounts of data (greater than 10 million rows)
6 years experience with developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines
6 years experience with developing cloud native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms
6 years experience in designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1 million records) on analytics platforms such as Tableau.

Required Skills:
