Position: Cybersecurity Practitioner: Paid Expert Interviews (SOC Incident Response Detection AppSec)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $125$175/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Participate in two to three one-hour video conversations with the Mercor team over four weeks.
• Discuss the tools and processes used in enterprise cyber defense work.
• Evaluate how AI assistance currently impacts your work and suggest improvements for AI benchmarks.
• Review and provide feedback on our draft task taxonomy for accuracy and relevance.
• Share insights on measuring the effectiveness of triage investigation and other security tasks.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Current or recent experience in enterprise security roles such as SOC analysts incident responders or security engineers.
• Experience with EDR and SIEM stacks like CrowdStrike Falcon Microsoft Defender Splunk or similar.

Preferred

• Security leaders with hands-on experience in cyber defense work.

Compensation & Legal

• Paid hourly for interview time as a spot bonus.
