Cyber Reverse Engineer

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Reverse Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland. Join a team that tackles complex multi-disciplinary problems spanning a variety of UxS systems and technologies. Youll have the opportunity to use and grow your static and dynamic reverse engineering skills to support the Counter-UAS mission through techniques like binary analysis vulnerability research or software / firmware reverse engineering.

Responsibilities:

As a Reverse Engineer youll contribute to a team that works hands on with state-of-the-art UAS electronics and systems. With your technical skills and learners mindset youll perform basic analysis and evaluation of applications in support of the teams work on new technologies as well as your own professional growth.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- BS in a related discipline and 5 years of directly related experience.
- Ability to learn and grow as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Passion for solving puzzles and curiosity for how digital systems work.
- Experience working in a Linux OS environment.
- Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python Java or C/C.
-Proficiency with written and verbal communications with an ability to articulate technical questions and findings to peers in order to foster learning of self and team alike.
- Understanding of software architecture and software development best practices.
- Experience with binary analysis or software reverse engineerin.g
- Experience with tools such as Ghidra Binary Ninja IDA JADX x64dbg or GDB.


Desired:

- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and security principles.
- Familiarity with Android OS mobile device debugging techniques reverse engineering APK files.
- Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes signal/power analyzers and multimeters.
- Experience performing micro-soldering.
- Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS UGV and USV.
- Familiarity with the programmatic use of APIs.
- Experience working with containers at a technical level.
- Experience leveraging interfaces and protocols such as I2C JTAG UART SPI USB and Ethernet.
