Description:
- The primary responsibility of this role is tosupport the Powertrain Testing - Lab Operationsfunction.
- Reporting to the Manager of Operations Central Lab Ops the person in this role willsupport the Powertrain Testingdepartments objective toensure testing readiness.
- Test Execution: engine powertrain or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.
- Compliance Validation:Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP HWFE and US06).
- Data Analysis:Analyze emission outputs particulate matter (PM) and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
- Troubleshooting:Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
- Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new R&D activities.

- Provide Engineering Support for Powertrain Testing Operations
- Oversee and resolve problems associated with R&D testing equipment.
- Support daily operations and problem solve those issues and develop countermeasures
- Education:Abachelors degree in engineering.
- Technical Knowledge:Understanding ofpropulsion systems CFR Emission Testing Requirements
- Software/Tools:Proficiency with data acquisition tools (Panel 4 ETAS or Hioki) and modeling platforms
GOOD TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional Engineering License(PE)
- Proficiency inreading electrical and mechanical prints
