Job Summary

Acrisure is seeking a Customer Service Representativeto support billing payment processing and customer account activities within a fast-paced insurance environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate payment processing maintaining account records and providing high-quality customer service to insureds and agents.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized detail oriented and interested in building experience within accounting billing or insurance operations. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from insureds and agents regarding billing questions payments account information and coverage related inquiries
• Process insured payments and maintain accurate account records
• Create and prepare deposits for bank processing
• Monitor receivables and communicate with insureds regarding past due balances
• Coordinate account escalations and collection activities when necessary
• Process refunds in accordance with company procedures and timelines
• Support vendor payable processing activities
• Print and process checks related to claims refunds commissions and other payments
• Maintain accurate documentation and support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned
• Provide professional and timely customer service across all interactions

Requirements

• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous office billing customer service or administrative experience beneficial

Education and Licenses

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional coursework in accounting finance or business beneficial
