Customer Account Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Account Representative to join a furniture sales and leasing company. This position works directly with customers to help them select furniture appliances and other household or office items while guiding them through the sales rental leasing financing and credit approval process.

The ideal candidate is friendly sales-driven organized and comfortable discussing payment options and financing with customers.

• Greet customers and provide professional friendly service
  

• Assist customers with selecting furniture appliances and other merchandise
  

• Explain product features pricing rental and leasing options and promotions
  

• Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry through completion
  

• Process rental lease and sales agreements
  

• Assist customers with financing applications and payment options
  

• Run and review credit applications according to company procedures
  

• Collect required customer information and documentation
  

• Explain financing terms payment schedules and account requirements
  

• Follow up with prospective customers and existing leads
  

• Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
  

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer questions
  

• Process payments and maintain accurate customer account information
  

• Maintain organized sales and customer records
  

• Work toward individual and store sales goals
  

• Coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams as needed
  

• Assist with showroom organization and product presentation
  

• Previous sales retail customer service furniture financing or leasing experience preferred
  

• Strong communication and customer service skills
  

• Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment
  

• Ability to explain financing and payment options clearly
  

• Basic computer and data-entry skills
  

• Ability to handle confidential customer and credit information professionally

This position offers a negotiable hourly rate plus commission providing the opportunity to increase earnings based on sales performance.
