TAT Technologies Tulsa site serves as the companys Center of Excellence for heat transfer manufacturing MRO and OEM solutions. Supporting commercial regional and military aircraft worldwide the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance improve reliability and ensure operational and mission readiness.
The Customer Account Manager serves as a key liaison between TAT Technologies and its customers ensuring exceptional service effective communication and successful execution of customer requirements. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts throughout the manufacturing and repair lifecycle coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet quality delivery and performance objectives. The ideal candidate is customer-focused highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing and MRO environment while building strong relationships that support long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer accounts throughout the proposal quoting order fulfillment production repair and delivery lifecycle.
- Prepare review and administer customer quotations contracts purchase orders and related documentation to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Coordinate with production planning scheduling quality engineering and shipping teams to ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met.
- Monitor account activity order status and production progress proactively communicating updates and resolving issues that may impact customer expectations.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization balancing customer commitments with operational objectives and business priorities.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns production challenges warranty issues and service-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Partner with Sales Forecasting and Business Development teams to support account growth opportunities and customer retention strategies.
- Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics developing action plans to improve service quality delivery and overall customer satisfaction.
- Support customer business reviews by presenting performance data operational updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency quality cost competitiveness and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies customer requirements and applicable aerospace industry regulations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management customer service program management or related customer-facing roles.
- Aerospace manufacturing OEM or MRO industry experience preferred.
- Military or governmental logistical experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify issues and drive solutions
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret contracts pricing structures customer requirements and production schedules.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership accountability and customer focus.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement Lean Manufacturing or operational excellence initiatives is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and interact with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to move between office and production environments as required.
- Ability to travel occasionally domestically.
