Camera Hardware Engineering group drives the design development and innovation of camera systems across Apples entire product portfoliofrom iPhone and Mac to iPad and Vision products. Our team delivers cutting-edge camera electronics including custom silicon that enable best-in-class imaging experiences for our users. Were seeking an enthusiastic high-energy engineer to help shape the next generation of camera this role youll collaborate with world-class experts across optics controls mechanics and imaging to architect and develop custom silicon ICs that push the boundaries of whats possible in computational photography.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical optical firmware product test and camera systems engineers to define silicon with silicon design vendors from architecture requirement definition through silicon delivery throughout the entire development guidance for verification and validation plans and review results to ensure quality and performance targets are the development of emulation platforms using discrete component design or FPGA implementationsnReview and provide guidance for board-level designs that integrate our custom silicon into camera systems.

BS DegreenExperience in at least one of the following domains: analog/mixed-signal IC development low-power low-noise sensing and signal processingnExperience with board-level design constraints power assessment and analysisnExperience with performing root-cause analysis and problem-solvingnExperience driving complex projects to completion

A minimum of 10 years of industry experiencenMS or PhD degree in Electrical or Computer EngineeringnEngineer and relevant in low-power low-noise sensing and signal processingnExperience with embedded systems and MCU-based custom silicon designsnExperience with software/hardware co-design methodologiesnExperience optimizing designs across multiple disciplines including hardware/firmware partitioning trade-off assessments design verification and tolerance analysisnExperience with IC development from architecture through high-volume production rampnExperience working independently to design and deliver complex systems
