Custodian

Shift: 2nd Shift 1:30 PM 10:00 PM
Pay: $18.12 per hour
Work Environment: Warehouse

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking 2nd Shift Custodian to maintain a clean safe and orderly warehouse environment. The Custodian will be responsible for routine cleaning sanitation trash removal and general upkeep of the facility during the afternoon/evening shift.

• Shift: 2nd Shift

• Clean and maintain warehouse floors work areas offices restrooms break rooms and common areas.

• Sweep mop vacuum and scrub floors as needed.

• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and other high-traffic areas.

• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.

• Maintain clean and orderly break rooms and employee areas.

• Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.

• Report maintenance issues safety hazards spills or damaged equipment to the appropriate supervisor.

• Safely operate basic cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to instructions.

• Help maintain a safe clean and organized warehouse environment.

• Perform other general cleaning and facility-maintenance duties as assigned.

• Previous custodial janitorial warehouse or cleaning experience preferred but not required.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.

• Ability to stand walk bend stoop and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required.

• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Reinforced-toe safety footwear is required for this position due to the warehouse work environment. Employees must wear appropriate reinforced-toe footwear while working in designated warehouse areas.
