Custodian - Part Time Utilimaster Bristol IN (Main)

Regular Employee Hourly Non-Exempt $22.00 - 22.00

What youll do:

The Maintenance Custodian position is responsible for external and internal appearance and cleanliness of our building(s). It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working cleaning sanitizing and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep general maintenance janitorial work and have good physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative incustodial maintenance jobs.

Clean restrooms and sanitize sinks toilets and urinals
Sweep and mop floors and replenish paper products i.e. restrooms
Salt walkways during winter months
Pick up trash and empty all trash containers
Lawn care i.e. pull weeds
Dust all furniture chairs desks filing cabinets and wall hangings (artwork)
Clean carpeted areas as needed
Mop linoleum floors and sweep all carpeted areas
Clean all glass (inside/out) doors windows and mirrors
Change light bulbs as needed
Clean mini blinds as needed
Set up conference/meeting/show/event rooms with tables chairs etc. as needed
Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors closing windows and setting up the alarm
Undertake other occasional custodial and janitorial tasks as requested

What you need to be successful:

HS Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1-2 years proven experience as custodian janitor or in a similar role
Custodian experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
Knowledge of use of cleaning equipment and appliances
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Very good physical condition and strength
