Custodian JLL

What this job involves:As a Custodian with JLL you will be the foundation of a safe clean and orderly environment for our clients. Your role is essential to maintaining our facilities and ensuring they meet the highest standards of presentation and operational excellence. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of cleaning and minor maintenance duties playing a direct and vital role in the daily experience of every person in the building. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a world-class facilities team where your dedication to quality and detail helps us shape a brighter way forward.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping mopping scrubbing and vacuuming floors as well as shampooing rugs and washing walls and glass.

• Service clean and supply restrooms to ensure they are consistently hygienic and well-stocked.

• Gather and empty trash recyclables and other rubbish from all designated areas of the facility.

• Maintain lighting systems by replacing bulbs and ballasts and conduct minor maintenance tasks and basic repairs as needed.

• Follow all procedures for the proper use and storage of chemical cleaners and power equipment to ensure safety and prevent damage.

• Set up arrange and remove tables chairs and other items for meetings and events and assist with moving furniture or equipment as requested.

• Maintain the janitors closet in a neat and orderly fashion ensuring equipment is in good working order and requisitioning supplies as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial cleaning custodial or janitorial role.

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow instructions.

• Physical capacity to perform all job duties including lifting bending stooping and standing for extended periods.

• A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all company procedures.

Salary/Comp:14.13$- 16.82$
