Title: Custodian
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Chattanooga TN 37405
Hours: Sun-Thurs (9:30 pm to 5:30 am)
Position summary:
This is a custodial/cleaning position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness sanitation and overall appearance of buildings and surrounding areas. The role involves using cleaning equipment performing floor care cleaning restrooms and offices removing trash and completing basic equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuums floor machines buffers and other custodial equipment.
• Sweep mop scrub strip wax and buff floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms sinks toilets showers mirrors walls and floors.
• Clean offices facilities cabins and other assigned areas.
• Dust furniture and vacuum/shampoo carpets.
• Wash windows and walls and empty trash.

• Ability to follow cleaning sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Basic ability to maintain records and report facility issues.
• Custodial janitorial housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but may not be mandatory depending on the employer.
