What Youll Do:
As Lead Line Cook you will be responsible for the daily execution of meal service while serving as the on-site leader ensuring consistency compliance and operational stability.
- Lead daily meal preparation and service according to approved menus and recipes
- Ensure meals are served on time at proper temperatures and meet quality standards
- Maintain food safety sanitation and compliance with all regulations
- Manage inventory ordering and receiving through approved vendors
- Direct kitchen workflow assign tasks and adjust staffing coverage as needed
- Step into food production or service roles to maintain uninterrupted operations
- Monitor waste portion control and cost awareness during daily operations
- Collaborate with program leadership and respond to feedback from individuals served
- Maintain accurate documentation related to food safety and inventory
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ServSafe certification required
- Experience in food preparation within a structured or program setting preferred
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations food safety and organization
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
- Reliable professional and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation
- Committed to individual empowerment recovery principles and community integration
- Two years of sobriety preferred
