Position Details:
CT/X Ray Tech - Machias ME
Location : Machias ME 04654
Duration : 13weeks
Pay-rate :$54-$60/hr
Shift : 12 Hour night shifts. W-F
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a clinical healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both X-ray and CT procedures demonstrate strong attention to detail and provide compassionate professional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for examinations.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow applicable safety infection-control and radiation-protection standards.
- Utilize multiple computer systems and electronic medical records as required.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification/registration.
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- CT/X-ray experience preferred.
- Strong communication organizational and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using multiple computer systems and healthcare technology.
