Position Details:

CT/X-Ray Tech- Vail CO

Location : Vail CO 81658

Project Duration : 13 weeks

Pay range : $55 $60 per hour

Shift : 3X12s Days 7a-7p

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong imaging skills knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.

Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation.

Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain appropriate radiation protection measures.

Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in the Cerner EMR system.

Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Follow infection control procedures and departmental policies.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist.

Current ARRT (CT) certification.

Current ARRT (R) certification.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Experience using the Cerner EMR system.

Strong knowledge of CT imaging diagnostic radiography patient positioning and radiation safety.

Excellent communication teamwork and patient-care skills.
