A healthcare organization is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging procedures while delivering safe accurate and high-quality patient care.
This position is ideal for an imaging professional with ARRT credentials who is comfortable working directly with patients operating CT equipment administering contrast media within scope of practice and maintaining high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
The role is full-time and follows a Monday through Thursday schedule from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
- Review patient medical history and physician orders before imaging procedures.
- Explain procedures equipment and examinations to patients to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
- Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes.
- Prepare CT equipment supplies and imaging areas for patient procedures.
- Follow established patient safety and radiation safety standards.
- Perform required equipment quality control checks.
- Troubleshoot resolve or report equipment malfunctions as appropriate.
- Position patients correctly and perform computed tomography imaging procedures.
- Review imaging results for quality and identify technical issues.
- Take corrective action when needed including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
- Enter transmit and report imaging results in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education activities.
- Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate effectively with clinical teams.
- Work flexible shifts or units when operationally required.
- Associates Degree.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current ARRT credential.
- Additional CT certification preferred at the time of hire.
- Candidates without current CT certification must be able to obtain the required CT certification within one year of hire or transfer into the position.
- Ability to perform CT imaging procedures safely and accurately.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to imaging quality patient safety and clinical procedures.
- Full-time.
- Monday through Thursday.
- 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with patients operating CT imaging equipment identifying image-quality issues and working effectively in a clinical environment.
This is a full-time on-site position based in Rutherfordton North Carolina. Travel is not required.
