Crystal Process Engineering Technician

Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Crystal Process Engineering Technician position located in Orlando FL. This position is a direct hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site.

Job Description:

• Test various crystal products (i.e: Filter crystals discrete monolithic MRW versions as well as round blank crystals.
• Repairs crystal process equipment and ensures equipment uptime.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on key crystal processing equipment like vacuum systems pumps compressors etc.
• Performs screening and qualification processes such as G-sensitivity phase noise vibration shock thermal shock etc.
• Creates and updates production documentation and/or procedures assigned.
• Updates production level equipment and test systems as required
• Performs data collection and work towards statistical evaluation of processes

• Hands-on role requiring collaboration across multiple disciplines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with various hand tools.
• Understanding of vacuum pumps compressors and related system preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cohesivity in a team environment
• Experiences performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting equipment and process data collection
• Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license.

• Associates degree or technical certification in Engineering technology mechanical engineering electrical engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• 1-3 years of technical experience is desired.
• Hands-on experience in crystal manufacturing semiconductor processing or precision equipment operation is highly preferred.
• Must have background and experience with vacuum systems.
