Job Summary
- Design engineer/develop and implement IT systems used by the clients mission network to support end users
- Apply knowledge of operational tradecraft at OSI model layers 1-4
- Identify opportunities to integrate efficiencies into innovative IT systems that enhance the cyber mission
- Work effectively in a fast-paced ambiguous setting distilling complex technical concepts into actionable insights for leadership
- Ability to run a project independently from inception to completion including requirements gathering design implementation testing and final documentation with minimal supervision
- Brief colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology tool development equipment functionality and technical/operational deconfliction
- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e. Computer Science Computer Engineering) with a minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant technical field to the position
- Active TS/SCI clearance with required polygraph
- Ability to evaluate and recommend complex process improvements and new emerging technologies to meet client requirements
- Experience in current DARTs ecosystem and/or experience in automative test networks at scale (e.g. turn around of virtual machines within seconds)
- 5 years of systems or network engineering experience
- 5 years of experience implementing and managing large-scale networks and/or systems including architecture protocols and security measures (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP firewalls etc.)
- 5 years experience integrating complex enterprise applications and disparate external systems utilizing API workflows
- Experience integrating networks with multiple hypervisor platforms and leveraging containerization technologies (VMWare KVM Docker Kubernetes etc. are all various technologies utilized) to host complex scalable and highly customized environments
- Background with end-to-end automation solution frameworks that streamline environment provisioning and reduce manual intervention in testing workflows
- Sound judgment problem-solving and decision-making skills with an ability to adapt to emerging issues and changing priorities under short deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and stay abreast of leading-edge technologies
- Experience implementing and documenting standard operating procedures of systems or networks
- Experience with systems security measures such as network segmentation isolation and encryption
- Knowledge of network virtualization technologies (e.g. NSX ACI etc.)
- Experience with systems and network performance optimization and capacity planning
- API development experience in designing and consuming APIs to bridge testing platforms with third-party monitoring logging or other tools
- Experience automating and integrating complex business workflows with AI technologies and platforms leveraging API workflows and other technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience working with tools such as Ansible or Terraform to manage and version-control the underlying virtualized testing hardware and configurations
- Experience in managing large-scale remote workstation clusters focusing on high-availability and minimal latency for highly scalable resource capabilities
- Detail oriented organized able to multitask and adaptable to shifting requirements
- Flexibility Works well both independently and as a team player; must be eager to learn
- Candidate should be a self-starter an possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate

Pay Range:
