Agritek Recruiting is recruiting a Crop Consultant for a leading ag retailer in the Cerro Gordo IL area. This is a full-time opportunity with an established employer that values safety teamwork and taking care of its customers. Requires at least 3 years of ag sales experience.

What youll do:

• Sell seed fertilizer crop protection and agronomy services to growers
• Scout fields and provide agronomic recommendations for fertility crop protection and seed
• Grow market share in an assigned territory and build long-term grower relationships
• Work with location operations and application teams to execute plans
• Use precision ag data soil sampling and yield data to support recommendations

What were looking for:

• Agronomy crop science or ag business degree or equivalent ag sales experience
• Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) a plus
• Strong communication relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated organized and comfortable with territory travel
