Production Crew Leader
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 2/3/3/2 pattern
Shift: Must be available to work either days or nights
Weekend Work: Every other weekend as part of the 2/3/3/2 schedule
Shift Rotation: Employees are typically assigned to either day or night shift and remain on that shift. However flexibility to work either shift may be required based on business needs including vacation or medical leave coverage.

We are seeking aProduction Crew Leader to oversee safety housekeeping quality and production activities for an assigned area of an industrial manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes ownership of shift performance and is responsible for employee motivation training scheduling equipment needs continuous improvement and productivity.
This position will lead hourly employees establish priorities facilitate problem-solving initiatives and help ensure production and quality objectives are met. The Crew Leader may also provide process direction and prioritization to maintenance and craft employees when addressing equipment issues.
The position requires flexibility to work a variety of schedules including off-shift and 12-hour schedules.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage lead and take accountability for crew environmental health and safety performance and practices.
- Monitor production rates and information flow to ensure production objectives are achieved.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and work with internal and external customers and suppliers when applicable to communicate expectations and priorities.
- Establish communicate and implement priorities aligned with business and departmental objectives.
- Maintain quality process management and production standards.
- Plan manage and execute departmental operating plans and daily operations.
- Manage scheduling crew assignments and overtime as needed.
- Promote and support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach develop and motivate employees while recommending improvement plans when appropriate.
- Lead and engage hourly teams in process improvement and problem-solving activities.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Resolve workplace conflicts and provide appropriate coaching and counseling.
- Facilitate shift meetings and engage employees in key aspects of business and operational performance.
- Develop and execute 90-day A3 problem-solving initiatives.
- Identify develop share and implement best practices across the team.
- Consistently enforce workplace rules policies procedures and applicable labor agreements.
- Develop implement and maintain current standard work for employees and leaders.
- Complete leadership standard work and review results with management.
- Provide process direction and prioritization to craft employees when necessary to resolve equipment issues.
- Perform other duties as needed to meet business and operational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of1 year of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
