Creative & Design Services Student Team Member

This recruitment will be used to fill eight part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Creative & Design Services Team Member position for the Printing and Mailing Services at Oregon State University (OSU).

Position Duties

Graphic Designers:

• Design and produce marketing materials such as flyers posters banners digital ads impact reports

• As a part of theDAMCreative team you will work collaboratively to ensure that all designs meet the programs needs and brand standards.

• Contribute to the visual design aspects ofDAMCreative web presence and promotional campaign

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Photographers:

• Capture high-quality photographs of programs events and activities ensuring coverage of key moments and features. Edit process and prepare photos for marketing materials social media and web content.

• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure that photos are integrated effectively (in a way that enhances the overall design and message) into various design projects.

Video Editors:

• Develop and edit video content highlighting programs events and promotional efforts.

• Assist in the planning filming and producing video projects ensuring content is engaging

• Work with the team to produce videos that effectively tell the story ofDAMCreatives impact and offerings.

This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check possess and maintain a current valid drivers license in their state of residence be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard ) as per OSU Standard et seq.

Preferred

• Working towards a degree in Graphic Design Photography Videography Visual Arts Media Studies or a related field

• Experience in the field are encouraged to apply

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design photography or video editing with a strong portfolio of previous work

• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Premiere Pro etc.) and other relevant multimedia design and editing tools (such as Lightroom Final Cut Pro or After Effects)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills proactive attitude and a willingness to take on multiple projects

• Ability to work flexibly
