Starting Rate of pay: $21.89
Shifts Available and Hours:

Night Shift 6:00P to 6:00 AM EOWEO

Shift Premium: $1.50/hour extra for shift differential
What you will be doing
  • Operate overhead cranes to safely move aluminum products racks bundles and materials throughout the packing and production areas.
  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report equipment defects malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Supply packing stations with required materials and remove scrap or completed product efficiently to support production flow.
  • Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout requirements job safety analyses (JSAs) and participation in daily safety meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through housekeeping and 5S practices.
  • Assist with packing banding and other production activities when crane operation duties are not required.
What will make you successful

Required Education/Experience:

  • Ability to operate an overhead crane safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to understand speak and follow basic verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to complete pre-use equipment inspections and accurately identify and report safety or equipment issues.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform frequent climbing reaching walking and lifting within OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to read understand and consistently follow work instructions safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous overhead crane operating experience in a manufacturing extrusion metals or industrial production environment.
  • Experience supporting packaging shipping or material handling operations.
  • Familiarity with 5S housekeeping standards and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience conducting equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe material handling practices.
