Ascend Staffing is hiring Crab Shakers for a leading seafood processing facility in the Pacific Northwest!

Day Shift

• 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

• MondayFriday

• Weekends may be required based on production needs

• Overtime may be available

• Seasonal and year-round opportunities available

• Orientation must be completed before starting work

• Handle and process crab products

• Carry baskets of crab product weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Use a mallet and anvil to remove crab meat from shells

• Inspect crab meat for shells and defects

• Check product for quality and cleanliness

• Grade and pack seafood according to company standards

• Sort and prepare finished product

• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements

• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

• Follow all workplace safety rules

• Meet daily production goals

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced seafood processing environment

• Perform additional production duties as assigned

• Seafood processing experience preferred

• Food processing experience preferred

• Cannery or production experience a plus

• Food safety or sanitation experience a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to inspect product for quality

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed

• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
