COURIER DRIVERPosition SummaryOverall responsibilities for pickup and delivery of documents and other materials to and from various branches and Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperates assigned Company owned vehicle to pick up checks documents mail and other materials and delivers to specific special deliveries and pickups at different locations as directed by the supervisor. May cover other routes as clerical duties answers phones takes and relays the Company vehicle following all traffic rules and all problems incidents and accidents immediately to the General Manager and completes any documentation as a clean and safe work environment and works harmoniously with team with all Federal State and local laws as applicable to the scope of their duties and good personal hygiene and a professional appearance at all times and while in uniform ensures uniform is clean and wrinkle all and/or other duties as and complies with the following policies and procedures as described in new hire orientation annual re-training programs and any other policies or procedures as identified and deemed necessary:Sexual Harassment & Workplace ViolenceWork Injury PreventionDrug Free WorkplaceCompany House & Safety RulesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredValid State of Hawaii drivers licenseMust have an acceptable Driving History RecordMust be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical CertificationMust be able to pass the Human Performance Exam (HPE)Must be able to pass a math testOther QualificationsAble to lift up to 50 poundsAble to push heavy carts and hand trucksKnowledge of streets of the island is helpfulWork Days and Hours:Hours vary by shift/route
