Cost Control Manager

KBR is looking for a Cost Control Manager to lead project cost management activities and maintains oversight of budgets commitments expenditures forecasts and trends. This role provides financial visibility to client and PMC leadership and ensures cost performance is continuously monitored against approved project objectives.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead project cost management activities including budgets commitments expenditures forecasting and cost performance reporting.

• Monitor project performance against approved budgets identifying trends variances risks and opportunities.

• Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion (EAC) cash flow and funding forecasts.

• Support change management activities by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment.

• Provide cost analysis forecasting insights and performance reporting to client and PMC leadership.

• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost collection reporting and forecasting.

• Lead and develop the cost control team while promoting cost management best practices.

Required Education Experience & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Finance Business Project Management or a related discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of cost control cost management forecasting or project controls experience supporting major capital projects.

• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets commitments expenditures forecasting and cost reporting.

• Strong understanding of cost management forecasting methodologies project accounting interfaces and performance analysis.

• Experience supporting large industrial pharmaceutical manufacturing life sciences energy or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical biotechnology life sciences or other regulated manufacturing projects.

• Experience in an Owners Representative PMC EPCM or Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) environment.

• Experience supporting large projects with multiple phases exceeding $500 million TIC.

• Proficiency with EcoSys SAP Oracle Power BI or similar project cost management and reporting systems.

• Professional certifications such as CCP EVP PMP or equivalent project controls credentials.
