Cost Analyst Bristol IN (Main)

What youll do:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain accurate system pricing for products models and options.
Analyze product and project costs including material labor and other cost drivers to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost reduction.
Develop and maintain cost estimates for new and existing products models options and projects to support pricing and profitability decisions.
Compare estimated costs to actual production costs investigate variances and identify the root causes of cost changes.
Evaluate the impact of changes in material and labor costs on product pricing margins and overall profitability.
Identify waste inefficiencies and other opportunities to improve manufacturing costs and profitability.
Prepare detailed cost analysis and management reports that summarize cost drivers pricing impacts profitability and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate costs support pricing decisions and evaluate the financial impact of products and projects.

Conduct or assist with audits of current and historical projects to validate costs and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities.

What you need to be successful:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in accounting business or a related field
5 years of accounting or Bill of Materials-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Sound understanding of accounting principles
Solid cost systems background
