Job Summary
Responsible for the care custody and control of persons including the safety of inmates arrested and committed to the Sheriff of Comanche County. Processing and releasing offenders escorting inside and outside the facility. Maintain order and security through fair application of Texas Jail Standards and Comanche County Jail Policies and Procedures

Minimum of 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GEDValid Texas Drivers LicenseNot Convicted of a Class A or B Misdemeanor in last 10 YearsNever been Convicted of any level of Assault/Assault Family ViolenceSubmit to and Pass Comprehensive Background Investigation and TCOLE L-2 Physical Examination and L-3 Psychological ExamAbility to work any shift including nights weekends and holidays with varying days offAbility to Communicate effectively handle stressful situations and work with other staff and agencies.
