Figma is hiring a Corporate Communications Manager to help us set a new standard for corporate communications at a public company. Successful candidates will go beyond setting strategy to help define a new model for how public companies communicate. This person will partner across the company finance investor relations legal brand product and design to mine and tell stories that drive conversation across audiences formats and channels.

This role calls for range. You should be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are on X/Twitter. Youre capable of crafting campaigns around quarterly earnings and cultural moments. You can quickly learn and translate complex topics for a broader audience without dumbing it down. You embrace ambiguity are collaborative by default and are energized by the opportunity to build something new.

This is a full time role that can be held from our San Francisco or New York hub.

What youll do at Figma:
  • Help define and drive Figmas corporate storytelling strategy end-to-end from narrative development to execution across channels
  • Move beyond traditional PR to create integrated campaigns that cut through across media owned platforms and executive communications
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business momentum into clear compelling stories and campaigns
  • Work closely with executives to shape narratives that resonate with business and financial audiences from briefings to thought leadership
  • Identify and develop breakthrough story angles that position Figma at the center of key industry market and cultural conversations
  • Stay close to the news cycle and broader zeitgeist while proactively creating opportunities that put Figma ahead of it
  • Continue to grow your scope and influence as the company scales
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
  • 7 years of experience in in-house communications
  • A track record of building and scaling communications programs from the ground up
  • Strong business and cultural fluency with the ability to translate complexity into clear engaging narratives and pitches
  • Experience operating in fast-paced environments where direction isnt always definedand comfort creating it
  • Demonstrated experience crafting a point of view on storytelling that goes beyond conventional PR approaches
While not required its an added plus if you also have:
  • An understanding of product design software development and/or cloud-native applications.
  • Experience navigating and explaining business concepts and issues with fluidity.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including but not limited to individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience potential impact and scope of role) market demands and specific work location.

Figma provides paid sick leave holidays and other leave benefits in compliance with applicable federal state and local laws including the requirements of the Washington Minimum Wage Act and related regulations. Exempt employees are eligible for employerprovided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days cell phone and home internet reimbursements and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. All compensation and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may be modified by Figma at any time consistent with applicable law.

Annual Base Salary Range:

$153000 - $269000 USD
