Corporate Benefits Specialist

This is a contract role located in Rochester NY requires a 100% on-site schedule M-Fr 8a-5p
Pay rate - $24.50

We are seeking a Corporate Benefits Specialist to support the daily administration of employee benefits programs. This role works with employees internal teams and benefit vendors to maintain accurate enrollments resolve questions and support a positive employee experience.

• Administer medical prescription drug dental vision well-being COBRA Section 125 retirement and other voluntary benefit programs.

• Process benefit elections and changes for new hires qualifying life events leaves of absence and beneficiary updates.

• Respond to employee and manager questions working with Payroll Legal and benefit vendors to resolve issues.

• Support annual open enrollment including system preparation employee communications vendor coordination and issue resolution.

• Maintain benefit records and plan documents; monitor file feeds and prepare reports.

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment.

• Support benefits system updates process improvements and new initiatives.

• Stay informed about benefit trends and recommend improvements to programs and employee support.

• Five years of Human Resources experience including experience in a benefits administration role required.

• Bachelors degree preferred; candidates with five or more years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Strong attention to detail organization and customer service skills.

• Ability to coordinate with employees internal departments and external benefit providers.
