Job Summary

The Coordinator for Internal Operations Athletics position is a full-time 10-month position within the Department of Athletics. The Coordinator for Internal Operations will assist the Director of Athletics and the Associate Director of Athletics in coordinating intercollegiate athletic activities including facility scheduling for practices and home contests home athletic event management managing graduate assistants interns and student worker personnel assisting with compliance tracking and coordination of departmental initiatives. The position often requires working evenings weekends and holidays throughout the year.

The Coordinator for Internal Operations oversees all operations regarding facilities including scheduling for all users and all home athletic events. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere open to meeting the reasonable expectations of clients and ensuring high quality customer service in a continuous improvement environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Two years of experience within an intercollegiate athletics department
  • Computer background including Microsoft Suite Outlook One Drive
  • Strong organization management and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree
  • Experience with hiring and supervision of student employees
  • Knowledges of NCAA DII and PSAC rules & regulations
  • Previous experience in an NCAA DII athletic department

The starting salary for this position is $40837.50 for 10-months based on the SCUPA Collective Bargaining Agreement.


This position may be eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement permitting a combination of on-site and remote work subject to applicable organizational policies operational requirements and supervisory approval.
