Position Summary
The Office of Engaged Learning at North Central College is committed to the integration of experiential learning into the academic experience of every student. Reporting to the Assistant Provost for Student Success and Engaged Learning the Coordinator for Civic and Cultural Engagement supports high-impact practices including Community-Engaged Learning the Center for Social Impact and Cultural Events. The coordinator collaborates with faculty and staff provides administrative and logistical support maintains program resources creates internal and external messaging and assists with assessment and evaluation. The coordinator cultivates and sustains community partnerships while supporting faculty staff and students engaged in community-based learning and volunteerism. The coordinator manages partnerships to support NC students in internships with non-profits. This position is integral to cultivating an intellectual civically-engaged community of learners at North Central College and requires a commitment to community engagement an equitable democracy and advancing the common good. Evening and weekend work may be required.
