Cooking Operator 2nd Shift

Job Summary:
The Blender Operator at Newly Weds Food in Gerald MO will be responsible for operating and maintaining capsicum (chili) cooking operations to process raw ingredients and produce finished dry product. This is a full-time 2nd shift position that requires an individual who is detail-oriented able to work independently and has a strong understanding of food processing equipment. The Cooking Operator will report to the Production Supervisor and work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality dry food blends.

Responsibilities:
Operate the chili cooker in accordance with standard operating procedures
Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure desired results
Ensure all ingredients are properly measured and weighed before loading into the cooker
Maintain accurate production and inventory records
Perform regular quality checks on product to ensure they meet company standards
Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or issues in a timely manner
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Assist with other production tasks as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow operating procedures.

Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure and weigh ingredients

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
