Job Summary
Each of our 18 different school sites is a School of Choice with individual focuses such as health and fitness drama and the arts technology music and science just to mention a district is broken into four areas called quadrants. Students have the opportunity to choose any school within the quadrant in which they live based on their interest AND still have transportation works consistently to meet the needs of 12000 students through providing quality professional development for our staff collaborating with parents and community members listening to students and benchmarking best practices across the nation.
Directly responsible to the Director of Nutrition Services and working with guidance from the Lead Cook performs duties related to cooking baking and assisting in food preparation service and clean-up in order to support a safe and orderly environment for students and staff. Performs other related work as directed. REQUIREMENTS:A valid Food Handlers Card is required before starting :One year of paid experience in large quantity food preparation EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent
