Location: Jacksonville FL
Salary: $35-$45/hr. Annual Bonus Potential

Typical hours: M-F 7:30 AM 4:30 PM (46 hours of weekly OT typically available on a voluntary basis and paid at time-and-a-half; occasional mandatory OT may be required to support customer needs)

Travel: Primarily local within Greater Jacksonville; Company Car Provided (after onboarding)

Controls Technician Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join an established service team supporting commercial customers throughout the Jacksonville market. This is a great opportunity for a technician looking for excellent benefits and a local service territory that keeps you home most nights. Most customers are within the Greater Jacksonville area resulting in limited extended travel and no routine overnight stays. When youre in the field most trips are completed within the day allowing you to get home rather than spending your week on the road. Controls Technician Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage problems at commercial customer locations
Service building and environmental systems including HVAC lighting access etc.
Test sensors relays control components and other electrical devices
Diagnose system faults and determine the appropriate repair or corrective action
Complete calibration functional testing and system verification
Use electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve issues
Provide on-site technical support and remote assistance when appropriate
Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and internal teams
Participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call schedule generally once every five weeks
Controls Technician Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting commercial low-voltage electrical systems
Proven electrical diagnostic skills including experience working with relays and control wiring
Ability to interpret electrical drawings schematics and wiring diagrams
Drivers license required
In-office required when not traveling
