Controls Engineer

I have a client in Fort Myers FL whos looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team. This person will be supporting automation projects through PLC programming software development troubleshooting and commissioning.

This role is ideal for someone with a few solid years of controls or automation experience who wants to grow into more project ownership while working with a stable established engineering team.

This is an onsite DIRECT-HIRE position with 20-25% travel.

Job Requirements:

• 35 years of experience in controls engineering automation or PLC programming
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics Software Engineering or related field (preferred not required)
• Handson experience with PLC programming and ladder logic
• Exposure to automation software development or industrial control systems
• Experience with startup testing or commissioning of automated equipment
• Ability to travel 2025% for commissioning and customer support
• Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working in a manufacturing environment
