Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
The Controller is responsible for the accounting operations including production and analysis of periodic
financial reports and forecasts. Supervises a team of accounting/finance professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the accounting operations including production and analysis of periodic financial
reports and forecasts.
Maintain an adequate system of accounting records.
Responsible for maintenance of comprehensive set of controls and budgets.
Ensure accuracy of the units financial results
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as those of the group.
Complete ongoing analysis process and production constraints margin analysis and tracing
costs back to underlying activities.
Perform monthly GL account reconciliations.
Analyze plan to actual variances and product profitability reports.
Monitor and oversee other location accounting activities including factory A/P and payroll.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Must have strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office.
Able to work as a team with others in the department.
Capable of managing change and problem-solving skills.
Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
SAP experience preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business Administration.
Advance courses in Financial Management Business Law and Computer Science are beneficial.
Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience required. Cost accounting background
and experience preferred.
CPA or graduate degree is preferred
Bilingual skills in English and Portuguese are highly desired.
