Job Summary
We are growing and were excited to add a Controller to our team! Were not your typical accounting team. We go beyond bookkeeping to provide hands-on accounting leadership operational support and strategic guidance especially in the construction and real estate industries.
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys getting into the details while also thinking big-picture. Youll work directly with business owners collaborate with our internal team and help shape the financial success of the companies we support.
What Youll Be Doing
In this role youll manage and guide full-cycle accounting processes including:
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly financials reconciliations and trial balances
- AIA billing accruals depreciation and prepaid calculations
- Cash flow management forecasting and budgeting
- Sales tax filings and multi-jurisdictional research
- Intercompany activity tracking and compliance
- 1099 and W-2 preparation and filings
- Payroll processing for clients across industries
- Partnering with clients and team members to improve financial clarity and operations
Youre a Great Fit If You:
- Have direct experience in real estate and/or construction accounting
- Understand job costing purchasing construction financing and vendor billing
- Are confident using QuickBooks Foundation and other accounting software
- Communicate clearly and professionally with business owners clients and vendors
- Work independently with strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Want to join a collaborative high-trust team that values people and relationships
