Position Overview:
As the Control Systems Developer at Muth Power Solutions you will be responsible for leading a team of talented programmers in the design development and implementation of control systems tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. This is a leadership role that requires a combination of technical expertise project management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of control systems programmers providing guidance direction and mentorship to ensure project success and team development.
- Collaborate closely with clients engineers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective control system designs.
- Develop control algorithms logic and software for various applications including process control motion control and automation systems.
- Program and configure PLCs DCS (Distributed Control Systems) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and other control devices to achieve desired functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing debugging and validation of control systems to ensure reliability performance and safety.
- Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in control system programming incorporating innovative solutions into project designs.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from initial concept to commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of control systems.
